Text

Eph 4:32

Aims

  1. to expound the biblical context on how couples can appreciate themselves,

  2. to discuss the practical ways couples can appreciate each other while on household duties and

  3. to expound on the importance of appreciating God as a bride in Christ’s Church.

Introduction

Our Bible text today emphasised on being kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God hath forgiven us for Christ's sake. This reveals that kindness and tender-heartedness are practical steps toward showing appreciation. An unexpected act of kindness can affirm someone's value and positively impact their day. As humans, we do not only respond to appreciation, we crave it. When your spouse does their share of the work, be sure to thank them for a job well done. Sure, they’re expected to do the work, but letting them know that you appreciate their effort will make them feel good and motivate them to keep it up.

Conclusion

Appreciation is very germane in household duties by marital couples.
